  • General / SEBC / OEC ₹1000
  • SC Category ₹500
  • ST Category Exempted

1. Eligibility Checklist (Engineering Focus)

Age Criteria

  • You must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the exam year (2026).
  • There is no upper age limit for the examination.

Academic Qualification

  • Must have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent.
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible.
  • Nativity Requirement: Must be an Indian citizen of Kerala origin or satisfying the relevant residence criteria.

Mandatory Subjects & Marks (Engineering)

  • Must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • Minimum Aggregate Marks (P, C, M / P, M, Comp Sci / P, M, Bio):
    • 45% for General/SEBC
    • 40% for SC/ST

3. The 4-Stage KEAM Application Process

Registration & Login Creation

Complete the initial sign-up to receive your KEAM Application Number. This requires a valid mobile number and email ID for correspondence.

Fill Detailed Application & Select Courses

Log in and fill in all personal, academic, Nativity, and communal reservation details. Carefully select the courses you are applying for (Engineering, Medical, Architecture, etc.) as the fee depends on this.

Application Fee Payment

Pay the examination fee online (Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card) or via e-Challan at designated Post Offices. Fee amount varies based on your category and course selection.

Upload Certificates & Print Confirmation

Upload scanned copies of your Photograph, Signature, and all mandatory Certificates (Nativity, Caste, etc.). Finally, download and print the Confirmation Page, which is crucial for future reference.
